EXPLORATION OF THE COSMIC MICROTONE

Something horrific lies beyond the realm of possible imagination. A mysterious realm unexplorable by man. It has come to our attention that recently the efforts of the Frontman’s power have been waning thin and a time for change is necessary. Given that the Frontman’s power and magical abilities are determined by the musical arrangements TERATOMA is possesed to perform, the arrangement of notes provided by western music theory is simply not enough. Therefore, we have determined an expansion of mind, psyche, and musical notation is paramount to evolving the Frontman’s power. Inspired by the arrangements of Turkish instrumentation we’ve reconstructed our feeble instruments to accommodate extra tones. A group of guitars have been meticulously de-constructed, and re-fretted with extra frets so that we may be able to access “forbidden” notes. These notes theoretically shall allow the Frontman to access higher levels of magical abilities. For the past few months TERATOMA has been experimenting with the concepts of MICROTONAL music. In efforts to expand our malevolent musical influence we’ve decided to release a new album “SOUNDS OF THE COSMIC MICROTONE” exploring these microtonal concepts and expanding our library.
